K-Pop Producer of “Boss Mode” addresses 4MINUTE’s plagiarism controversy

The producer for Knife Party’s “Boss Mode” has clarified 4MINUTE’s plagiarism accusation in a recent Twitter update.
Upon the release of 4MINUTE’s latest track, “Crazy,” a Korean blogger made claims that the girl group had plagiarized Knife Party’s “Boss Mode,” which caused fans to become hesitant about the issue.
On February 14th, a user sent a tweet to the producer of the song “Boss Mode,” saying that 4MINUTE had stolen the song. However, the producer, Rob Swire responded that he did not hear anything similar about the songs. He wrote, “boss mode?? I don’t really hear it :S maybe used as a reference or something.”
Although many still claim that the song is plagiarized despite the producers words, 4MINUTE’s plagiarism conflict had been cleared after the message.
Meanwhile, 4MINUTE is currently promoting their new track as well as their mini-album, titled Crazy.

In celebration of Lunar New Year, CNBLUE performed their latest song “Can’t Stop” on Hunan TV.
Lunar New Year this year falls on February 19th, which is celebrated by many countries in Asia including Korea, China, Japan, Tibet, Vietnam, and more. With Lunar New Year around the corner, CNBLUE shares in the festivities through their performance in the 2015 Hunan TV Spring Festival Gala Evening.
On February 13th, CNBLUE hit the stage to perform their hit song “Can’t Stop” on the stage of Hunan TV. Performing in front of their Chinese fans, CNBLUE performed on a stage decorated in the Chinese lucky color, red.
The fans in the audience waved their sea of light sticks while watching CNBLUE jamming out on stage.
Meanwhile, the band recently snapped a photo backstage with Baek Ji Young as they met up at the performance.

K-Pop SISTAR talks about dancing in 13cm killer heels on “SISTAR’s Showtime”

SISTAR have never stepped down from their 13cm kill heels even during dance practices resulting their perfect performances on stage. Since their debut of 6 years, the girls performed to various wave choreographies in such high platforms.
On a recent episode of SISTAR’S SHOWTIME broadcasted on February 5th (KST), SISTAR revealed scenes of their dance practice room as well as stories of their legendary killer heel choreographies.
The members mentioned that it is true that they frequently receive questions regarding their 13cm heels. They mentioned that they have been using the high footwear even during practices. In particular, they disclosed that it was impossible to wear sneakers instead of those heels during their training periods. They remember that they practiced walking and dancing in heels as soon as they stepped inside the agency’s building.
The girls said, “It was of course difficult, but we would not be able to deliver and dance like we do today without those practice. Wearing heels everyday helped shape our leg lines.”
Meanwhile, SISTAR has revealed their dance know-hows in MBCeveryone‘s SISTAR’S SHOWTIME on February 5th.

K-Pop Eight cast members confirmed for upcoming “Real Men” female special

The eight-member lineup for MBC‘s Real Men second female special has been officially released and confirmed on January 12th.
MBC confirmed that actresses Kim Ji Young, Park Ha Sun, Kang Ye Won, Lee Da Hee, gag woman Ahn Young Mi, Apink‘s Yoon Bomi, f(x)‘s Amber, and former announcer Lee Ji Ae have been casted as the new female members of Real Men.
MBC revealed that there was an extremely large amount of applicants for the eight spots on the show. “There was about a 10-to-1 competition for a spot on the show, with about a 40-to-1 competition for a spot for idols.”
Kim Ji Young won the excellence award last year at the MBC Drama Awards for her performance in Everybody Kimchi, and as the only mom, she is expected to care for everyone and lead the team.
Lee Ji Ae is the least expected member of the cast as a former KBS announcer, who is now working as a freelancer. She told the production crew of Real Men that she has the “combination of a strong-willed spirit and good stamina.”
The free spirited gagwoman Ahn Young Mi is expected to give a fresh laugh to the viewers, especially with all her success in the past in creating catchy phrases.
Kang Ye Won has a beautiful figure and is known for her 4D personality, while Lee Da Hee is a supermodel turned actress with the perfect proportions, and Park Ha Sun is known for her pure image. The three actresses are expected to work together to shake up the hearts of male viewers.
Youngest member Apink’s Bomi has a third degree black belt in Taekwondo and has already been labeled Girl’s Day’s Hyeri‘s rival for her cute aegyo.
Henry’s strong recommendation played a big part in the casting of Chinese-American f(x) member Amber. She is expected to play a big role with her not 4D, but 16D personality.
With such a diverse cast, there is a high level of excitement to see how the team will work together. Real Men‘s “Female Special 2″ has begun filming and will air its first episode on the 25th.
